KeoniQueerten asked:
if Harley never put a pushbutton start on the bike and just left the kicker? in fact, there’d be tons of male riders that wouldnt even ride? is a kicker available still on the Evo motors?

I’m gonna let some ignorance show.
I always thought that the Evo was the predecessor to the TC-88. And the TC-88 was last available in 2006. In 2007 the Twin Cam was upsized to 96.
As far as the functional parts of the question… I believe there would be fewer of both. I never met a woman, and very few men, for that matter, that even like a kicker. Heck, I had someone ask me what a kick-start was yesterday!
And you should be able to find an aftermarket kicker for an Evo motored cycle. 2006 also brought out the 6-speed Cruise Drive tranny. No kicker available (yet).

Women who ride Harleys usually could bitch slap most dudes any way so it probably would be the same besides who kicks start any thing these days are the old days it was just as easy to roll down a hill and pop the clutch to get started

Well, I have a 1948 pan head and a 1999 heritage classic and i will tell you i rarely ride the 48 and not not at all on long trips. I sure dont know how the “old timers” did that all the time. My girl will ride the 48 from time to time, but the deal we had, if she can start it, she can ride it, and to my surprise, she will go for a spin on the ole thing just to do it, as for me, i’ll take it to the bike show a couple times a year, but thats about it. and to answer your question, yes, there would be alot less ladies and alot less”yuppies” riding, thats for sure. You can have a kicker put on at a custom shop, I thought about it, but for 3 thousand bucks, i dont think so. Have a good day.

I think that this question is totally sexist. What point are you trying to make here?? Why wouldn’t you just point out that less people would ride bikes if they didn’t have a pushbutton start? I agree with your point, and I am not a feminist by any means, but come on!! I am happy that more women are riding, and I absolutely love my bike!! Do you think it’s a bad thing that more women are riding bikes?

Lots of 300lb chicks who like chicks.
Personally after 10 kicks the romance is gone.
