Chris L asked:
I have a 69 Sportster and I am trying to find out what kind of forks are on it. The upper section of the fork is 33mm and the lower section (connected to the axle) is 41mm. The width is approx 4 1/2in from fork to fork. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

You can’t tell which fork by measuring, only by either consulting the manual or calling the dealership.
I believe the stock forks on a ‘69 Sporty were proprietary H-D make. A ‘69 has a drum brake on the front. If yours has a disc brake, it’s probably Jap made.
Stock factory Sporty’s ran both Showa & Kayaba disc brake forks later on, so, without pix, only the dealer or a Harley x-pert would know.
