what kind of transmission oil to use in 1992 harley davidson 883?

   Hello
   Amsoil recommends 20-50 for all applications and you can get it at . I use Amsoil in all my vehicles. Amsoil is a extended drain interval doubling the OEM miles in engine or one year, double the miles in trans and primary. Same goes for engine in your vehicle

   i also use amsoil in everything on my bike. if you have a Fleet Farm close to you, they usually have it in stock if you don’t want to order it.

   You should try to see if it was synthetic or reg oil. You really don’t want to mix them. I would stick with original Harley primary lube, that is most likely what has in it.
